Addiction Recovery

We know how difficult it is to find your way back when you’ve struggled, or are currently struggling, with the burden of addiction. There are so many different addictions a person can succumb to: drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling … We’ve dealt with it all, and we want you to know that you don’t have to go through the process of recovery alone.

If you or a loved one is wrestling with the burden of addiction and would like to find help, contact us at (718) 583-3500 or locate your nearest rehabilitation center. In addition to our Adult Rehabilitation Center, many locations in Greater New York offer both group recovery meetings as well as one-on-one sessions. If your nearest location doesn’t offer meetings, we will refer you to a partner organization that does.

Special Group Counseling

One of the most inspiring moments one can experience is learning that whatever heartache you’re enduring in life, there are always others who understand what you’re going through, and are here to work with you during your time of need. If you or a loved one are experiencing a crisis and would like others to speak with, please contact your nearest Salvation Army service provider. Many Greater New York Salvation Army locations offer group counseling sessions or can refer you to an organization that does.

Correctional Care

For men and women who are in — or soon to be released from — a correctional facility, it’s a simple act of compassion that can show them they aren’t forgotten by society.

We believe in demonstrating kindness to all of God’s children and provide basic needs and transitional services for those men and women who seek grace and forgiveness. We also offer addiction recovery services, as well as community service opportunities.
