Ways To Help

Just as there are dozens of ways The Salvation Army helps others, there’s a multitude of ways you can give to The Salvation Army. From something as simple as dropping a dollar into a Red Kettle, to a more involved donation like planned giving, your generosity allows us to keep Doing the Most Good in Greater New York.

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a way to provide a major gift, in your lifetime or in death, at a predetermined time. It can also help you meet financial and estate-planning goals, as well as receive substantial financial benefits — all while assisting those in need.

Corporate Partenership

We want you to know how integral your business is to helping us help those in need.

Donate Goods

There are 1,400 Salvation Army Thrift Store locations across America, all with one central mission: Do the Most Good for those with the least. The Thrift Stores are an enduring symbol of the kind of good we do for our communities, generating more than $500 million in annual sales to the public — used exclusively to fund The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers, a pioneering rehabilitation program that serves more than 320,000 people each year.

Monetary

We are so grateful for the generous support from people like you. While there are many options to give to The Salvation Army, a monetary donation is the easiest and most convenient way to do the most good for those in need.

Christmas Assistance

For a family or individual in need, the holidays can be a time of loneliness and heartache, a reminder of their struggles. Thankfully, with your help, we can provide a happy holiday for men, women and children in Greater New York. We urge you to consider giving the gift of a Merry Christmas.
