May 14th served as the date of the latest “Saturdays in the City with The Salvation Army” walking-tour series, hosted by The Salvation Army Greater New York Division. This year’s spring tour covered the history of the mansions and major museums of the Upper East Side along Fifth Avenue. A donation of $60 included the tour and luncheon, which was held at The Parlor Steak & Fish. Proceeds from the tours benefit Salvation Army programs and services in the Greater New York area.

The next tour is scheduled for September 24th and will cover the Wall Street area. To register, contact Sharon Smith-Ibello at (212) 337-7345 or sharon.smith@use.salvationarmy.org.
